About Us
Who We Are
St Philip’s is a growing, Church of England church located in Tunbridge Wells. We are an ordinary group of people trying to follow Jesus and trying to be a loving, servant hearted presence in the communities we are a part of. We welcome all and we have excellent cakes and coffee at our services. Why not come along and join us on a Sunday or at one of the groups that runs during the week. You’d be very welcome.
Our Values

Seeker Friendly
Whether you’ve been a Christian for years or you’re just exploring faith we want to do all we can to make your time with us as straightforward as possible for you
Christ Centred
It’s all about Jesus! He is at the centre of everything we are are and everything we do.
Prayerful
We want our life as a church to flow from the place of prayer and intimacy with God.
Hospitable
We aim to be welcoming, hospitable and generous in all that we do.
Integrity
Nobody’s perfect, but we hope that there is a strong connection between what we say and what we do.
Loving
God is love. We hope love shapes everything we are and all that we do.
Individuals Valued
We believe that everyone is created in the image of God and is unique and precious. Each of us has God given gifts and talents which are given to us for us to enjoy and to use in the service of God and others.
Partying
We recognize that life isn’t always easy but we hope that you will find us a life giving community to be a part of.
Servant Hearted
Jesus came to serve rather than to be served. We aim to follow his example.
